The experimental style of Ashberry is claimed by their label to invoke nature and provide an inner journey, but although you can tell each track was lovingly prepared, it is music that is more likely to be found in a yoga class than in anyone's stereo. Their stripped down, minimalist style of music reminds you of being on water and is incredibly relaxing, but more at risk of sending me to sleep than to provide any message of my mortality. You may hear this album in an elevator somewhere; the problem is that you would be unlikely to recognise it.
